    The Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) was established in 1972 at Bangalore as technical institution. The institute is a small campus having area of 2.66 acres, which is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer quality education in tool engineering. As for now, GTTC Bangalore is privileged to have only 10 students enrolled with the institution that is backed by 4 members of the faculty. The institute has a concentrated programme with the single postgraduate programme showing the institute’s directness in tool engineering education.

    The institution known as GTTC Bangalore aims at availing all round training sessions to its learners. There are number of amenities in the campus to facilitate academic as well as the personal growth of the students. Students get to work with well outfitted laboratories, crucial to practice in tool engineering. The institute has a collection of books through a library with current research and study uses. 

    In response to the technological demands required for upcoming educational systems, GTTC has endeavoured to put up adequate Information Technology facilities. The campus also comprises of different and convenient hostel for boys and girls to accommodate students from different parts of the country.
