Shri Balasaheb Tirpude College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Nagpur, was established in the year 1994 and is situated in Civil Lines, Sadar Nagpur. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. It is spread over 2.7 acres and has two specialised streams: a degree in Hotel Management and a degree in Catering Technology. With an enrolment of 234 students in total and a faculty strength of 10, this college always maintains a focused learning environment.

Shri Balasaheb Tirpude College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, under the aegis of hospitality management, imparts two full-time courses. These include a four-year undergraduate programme in BA, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, and a postgraduate two-year course in Master of Hotel Management. These courses have been designed in a manner to help the students prepare with the more comprehensive knowledge and skills needed for the hospitality industry. The sanctioned strength of the BHMCT programme is 60 students, that again is an assurance given by the college to provide quality education through small sized classes.

Admission to the course of BHMCT shall be finalised based on the results of MAH-BHMCT-CET by the Director of Technical Education, DTE, and State CET Cell, Maharashtra State, Mumbai.
