IIIT Bangalore admissions offers a 4-year B.Tech programme and 5-year Integrated (B.Tech + M.Tech) programme at undergraduate level. IIIT Bangalore admissions offer various specialisations at integrated M.Tech programmes, including Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. 

IIIT Bangalore UG Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should appear and obtain a valid score in the JEE Main examination.

IIIT Bangalore PG Seat Intake and Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should register and fill out the application form with the required details. 

• The applicant should appear and obtain a valid score in the GATE examination.

• The IIIT Bangalore admission will be shortlisted based on the score secured in the GATE examination.

• The shortlisted candidate will be informed through a registered email address.

• The selected student must submit the required documents.

• The candidate should pay the course fee/ admission fee to complete the admission procedure. 

• The candidate should register and fill out the application form.

• The applicant should appear for the online written test.

• The candidates who have a valid score in GATE/GRE are exempted from appearing in the written test.

IIITB offers Master of Science in Research with specialisation in Research Software Engineering, Research VLSI Systems, Research Information Technology and Society and others and Doctoral courses. The duration for the MS by Research is of 3 years and for the Ph.D programme, the duration is of 6 years. The eligibility conditions for IIITB MS Research and Ph.D programmes shall be approved by the Chairman, Senate.
