Direct Admission: If you have qualified in UGC-NET, JRF, or SET, you can apply directly. This means you've already shown your knowledge in these national-level exams.

Indirect Admission: If you haven't qualified in those exams, you can still apply for Ph.D. In this case, there's usually an entrance test followed by an interview to check your suitability for the programme.
