NLIU Bhopal Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

National Law Institute University Bhopal admissions are offered to courses including BA LLB, B.Sc LLB, LLM and Ph.D programmes. For NLIU Bhopal admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes are based on CLAT and CLAT PG examination respectively.

For NLIU Bhopal admissions, candidates must fill the online application form before the due date. On the basis of marks of the CLAT, the results are declared. After that, the NLIU Bhopal cutoff is released. Candidates who meet the cutoff have to appear for counselling.

Out of the total 8 courses offered at NLIU Bhopal. 2 courses i.e. B.A LLB and B.Sc LLB are offered at the UG level. UG courses at NLIU Bhopal are of 5-years duration. 

NLIU Bhopal UG Seats and Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates must apply by filling the online application form.

• Applicants have to appear for CLAT for BA LLB and B.Sc LLB.

• After that, the participating institutes will release the NLIU Bhopal CLAT cutoff.

• Candidates meeting the cutoff have to appear for CLAT counselling and select NLIU Bhopal as their first preference.

• After the counselling session, the institute will release a merit list.

• Final shortlisted candidates must visit the NLIU Bhopal campus for verification of documents and payment of application fees. 

NLIU Bhopal offers 2 postgraduate programmes, LLM of 1-year duration and Masters of Cyber Law and Information Security of 2-year duration.  

NLIU Bhopal PG Seat Intake and Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible candidates must fill the online application form from the official website of the university.

• For NLIU Bhopal LLM admissions candidates have to qualify in the CLAT-PG examination.

• For NLIU Bhopal Master of Cyber Law and Information Security Programme admissions, candidates will have to appear for an “Entrance Test”, which shall consist of “All India Written Test” and “Personal Interview”. 

• Candidates who clear the entrance test will be called for a round of personal interview.

• The weightage of marks will be as follows, All India Written Test - 75% and Personal Interview - 25%.

• Candidates who obtain the minimum valid marks in the entrance and interview will be shortlisted.

• The final shortlisted candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the NLIU Bhopal admission fees. 

At the doctoral level, NLIU Bhopal offers two courses i.e Ph.D Law and Ph.D Cyber Law and Information Security. The two courses are offered for a duration of 6 years.

NLIU Doctoral Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Interested candidates must meet NLIU Bhopal eligibility criteria.

• Candidates must fill the university application form.

• Applicants have to appear for the All India Entrance Test conducted by the university.

• Candidates who clear the entrance test will have to appear for the personal interview conducted by NLIU Bhopal.

• The university will release the list of final selected candidates post the interview.

• Qualified candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees to confirm National Law Institute University Bhopal admission.

Note: UGC-NET/JRF/SLET qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but have to appear for the interview.
