    KDMG stands for Krishna Dagaduji Maharaj Charitable Society Ayurved Medical College And Hospital Chalisgaon was set up in 1998 by Dr. Uttamrao. D.Maharajan is a reputed college of Ayurveda teaching and health care facility. This affiliated college is based in Chalisgaon, Maharashtra and it is approved from the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM). Located on a 7-acre area, the institute provides BAMS courses, with the total number of students enrolled as 154. At present, the college has a strength of twenty-three faculties and so the student-faculty ratio is favourable. It is a co educational college that admits both male and female students with the aim of promoting an environment of learning regarding Ayurvedic medicine.

    Ayurved Medical College and Hospital provides facilities, which include those that are aimed at improving some of the facets of student learning as well as the general health of the students. This very equipped library is the knowledge centre, as it provides the vast stock of medical literature and research documents. Sophisticated laboratories are also incorporated, which offer learning by doing, essential for training in the Ayurvedic system of medicine. Extracurricular amenities on the campus include sports grounds and fields, a gymnasium, and an auditorium for fellow activities and assemblies.

    Ayurved Medical College and Hospital that is run by KDMG provides a full-time course known as Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) that lasts for 5.5 years. This programme is the flagship programme of the institute with an approved capacity to admit 50 students. The courses in the curriculum are structured to ensure that students gain a good understanding of Ayurveda, apart from aspects in today’s medicine. Although the college mainly emphasises this main course, the college also provides good education regarding all aspects of the Ayurvedic system of medicine. A controlled and focused Ayurvedic medical education expansion plan is evident from the institute’s total enrolment of 154 students.
