Motilal Nehru Degree College is one among the premier institutions of higher education that was set up in the year 2007 in Allahabad. Having its location in Kaundhiyara, Jari Bazar, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, this affiliated college has been shaping young minds since over a decade back. MNDC offers a wide variety of 14 courses in 6 degree programmes that cater to multiple interests in academics. With 16 dedicated faculty, it assures personal attention and quality education.

MNDC has a range of facilities to make learning as well as the student experience very enriching. It offers 14 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on a full-time basis. The courses are also offered at the diploma level. At the undergraduate level, students can either opt for a BA course or a B.Ed. course. Postgraduate courses available are even more diverse, such as MA in Sociology, Political Science, History, Economics, Education, English, Sanskrit, and Hindi. It also offers a Bachelor of Library Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, and diplomas in Tourism Studies and Rural Development for those interested in special fields. 

The admission process is different in case of various programmes at Motilal Nehru Degree College. In most courses, admission is merit-based, with marks obtained in the qualifying examination taken as the basis. However, the college follows a more comprehensive policy for admissions to the B.Ed. course. Admission to B.Ed. shall be made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Other criteria as enunciated in the policies of the state government, U.T. administration, and university may also be used for the selection process.  It tends to provide a kind of nurturing environment in which students can grow intellectually as well as personally.
