Prakash Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences and Research is a younger one from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, but with great strides in the pursuit of Ayurvedic studies since its inception in the year 2016. A compact campus spread across an area of 3.06 acres, it functions as a co-educational institution to preserve the wisdom of the ancient Ayurvedic heritage in modernised learning and teaching methods.

Facilities within the institute cater to student needs in learning and all-round development. A richly stocked library is a depository of knowledge, and fully equipped laboratories offer practical lessons in the various disciplines of Ayurvedic medicine. Hostel facilities for both boys and girls are offered on campus to provide a comfortable stay for those students who are from places outside. For physical and recreational purposes, sports facilities are available to all. There is also an auditorium for events and seminars to promote a lively academic environment. A cafeteria caters to the dietary needs of staff and students, and a health centre with first aid facilities takes care of the well-being of the campus community. 

The institute is currently offering one major course—the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)-a six-year programme for which students obtain adequate knowledge and practical training in the subject. National eligibility criteria for AYUSH undergraduate courses apply to admission processes for the undergraduate degree in BAMS offered by Prakash Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences and Research. Eligible candidates, selected from a merit list according to their NEET-UG qualification, need to clear the national-level standardised test for all Indian medical colleges, held by the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test or the NEET.
