Assam University offers a wide selection of courses at Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), MPhil and Doctoral (PhD and D.Litt) levels. Courses offered by Assam University are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Assam University courses like B.Tech, M.Tech and such are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Similarly, Assam University courses in the field of education like B.Ed, D.El.Ed and others are approved by the National Council for Teacher’s Education (NCTE). Assam University courses are of varied durations based on the level and field of study. Assam University course duration ranges from 1 year Diploma or PG Diploma programmes to 6 year PhD programmes.

The University being Central varsity has very good infrastructure and the facilities are also well very maintained.It has facilities such as Wi-Fi, smart boards, library, laboratory,Computer classroom, separate toilet for girls.

Yes college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. They have all facilities like laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels. They have wifi too. Yes they are well maintained.

College Infrastructure
The Dept of Statistics comes with a very well experienced teachers and the help to learn statistics according to market standards. The labs are very well maintained with updated statistical software. The infrastructure is pretty well and comes with clean and hygienic environment. Though the hostels are less compared to students so there is always a rush.

Yes,you can change your college/uni from one university to other in 2nd year but the chances are really low try to score really good marks in your 1st year and also make sure you get a seat before going for another university and then proceed for further process, you'll need
