BIT Mesra Admission Process

Birla Institute of Technology Mesra admissions 2024 are offered to courses including UG, PG and Ph.D programmes, such as B.Arch, B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, Ph.D and so on. BIT Mesra admission 2024 to the B.Tech/B.Arch course is based on the marks obtained in JEE Main, followed by the counselling process.

BIT Mesra admission 2024 to M.Tech and M.Plan Programmes is based on the marks obtained in GATE examination. Similarly for B.Pharm and M.Pharm admissions scores obtained in NEET UG and GPAT are considered respectively. BIT Mesra also conducts its own entrance examinations for some of the courses like MCA and Ph.D.

BIT Mesra UG Admissions 2024-2025

BIT Mesra offers B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma and BHMCT at undergraduate level in full-time mode. BIT Mesra UG course duration ranges from 2 to 5 years.

BIT Mesra B.E/B.Tech Admission Process 2024

Aspirants must meet the BIT Mesra B.Tech eligibility criteria.
First, eligible candidates must take the JEE Main.
Next, candidates have to get themselves registered on the official website of JoSAA.
Only registered candidates are eligible to enrol for the JEE Main counselling.
Qualified candidates must appear for the JEE Main counselling process, during which they must select their preferred option.
After that, candidates must select BIT Mesra as their college of choice.
Candidates will be chosen for BIT Mesra admissions 2024 based on their JEE Main rank and the choices they make during the counselling process.
Once assigned a seat, candidates must complete the BIT Mesra B.Tech admission process 2024 by getting the documents verified and paying the course fee.

BIT Mesra B.Arch Admission Process 2024

Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria.
Next, eligible candidates have to apply and appear for JEE Main Paper 2. They must then apply for and participate in the JoSAA counselling process after achieving qualifying marks.
Choose Birla Institute of Technology Mesra as a preference during the counselling process.
Based on their JEE-Main results, candidates will be assigned seats by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) /CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board).

BIT Mesra BHMCT Admission Process 2024

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria have to fill the BIT Mesra application form 2024.
BIT Mesra BHMCT admissions 2024 will be granted based on the marks obtained in Class 10+2 examination.
Selected candidates will have their names published in the final merit list.
To confirm admission, candidates need to submit documents and pay course fees.

BIT Mesra PG Admissions 2024-2025

BIT Mesra offers a total of 6 degree programmes at the postgraduate level including M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, M.Plan and M.Pharma. The duration of the postgraduate programmes of Birla Institute of Technology Mesra is 2 years. Given below are the details of BIT Mesra Master’s admission process 2024.

BIT Mesra M.Tech Admission Procedure 2024

Candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria.
Next, eligible candidates have to appear for the GATE exam and obtain valid scores.
For GATE-qualified candidates, the GATE scores are given 80% weightage and the overall academic record is given 20% weightage.
Non-GATE candidates are given a merit list with 80% weightage given to the entrance test and 20% weightage given to their overall academic record.
Non-GATE candidates will also be considered only if seats remain open after GATE-qualified candidates have been admitted.
All candidates who are eligible must participate in the counselling process.
As part of the choice locking process, applicants must select BIT Mesra main campus as a preference during counselling.
Once assigned a seat, selected candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fees.

BIT Mesra MCA Admission Process 2024

Students meeting the eligibility criteria have to fill the BIT Mesra application form.
Candidates must then appear for an online entrance test conducted by BIT.
Selected candidates will have their names published in BIT Mesra final merit list for MCA.
Once selected, candidates must pay the course fee and have their documents verified.

BIT Mesra M.Sc Admission Process 2024

Aspiring students have to fill the application form for BIT Mesra.
BIT Mesra M.Sc admissions will be granted based on the scores obtained in the JAM or the CUCET examination. 20% weightage will be given to previous academic performance and 80% to JAM/CUCET scores.
Candidates who have not appeared for either entrance examination will be evaluated based on the marks obtained in previous academics (80%) and an interview conducted by BIT (20%).
Selected candidates will have their names published in BIT Mesra final merit list for the respective M.Sc specialisation.
To complete the admission process, shortlisted candidates must verify their documents and pay the course fee.

BIT Mesra M.Pharm Admission Process 2024

Fill out the application form for Birla Institute of Technology Mesra.
The institute will release a list of shortlisted candidates based on GPAT scores for GPAT-qualified candidates.
Admission will be based on GPAT scores as well as the fulfilment of the university's eligibility criteria.
Non-GPAT candidates will be admitted based on an interview and a written test.
The written exam will follow the same syllabus as the GPAT.
It is worth noting that non-GPAT candidates will be considered for admission only after GPAT-qualified candidates have been admitted.

A merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations.
Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counselling process.
Following that, shortlisted candidates have to give preference to the BIT Mesra.

PhD candidates must fill out and submit an application form online on the BIT Mesra website, along with the application fees, after their eligibility has been verified.
Final seat allocation will be made for aspirants who achieve the minimum required marks in the online entrance exam, previous academic career, and interview. Only candidates who indicate their total percentage of marks and achieve the minimum required marks in the entrance exam will be considered for selection.
Shortlisted candidates will be admitted to Ph.D. programmes.
Finally, documents must be verified, and after fees are paid, the candidate will be admitted to the programme.

Course and academic related things are regulated by BIT MESRA campus and is same as the main campus. If we talk about the faculty, except few all the faculty members are excellent and well qualified and will support you throughout. There are five departments in this college for B.Tech course namely COMPUTER Science, ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION engineering, ELECTRONIC & ELECTRICAL engineering, MECHANICAL engineering, PRODUCTION engineering.

will i would get summer vacation in bit banglore and also will i get winter vacation in 1 year as my seniors are telling that they won't give any holiday but i think Summer vacation is given by every college please answer me

There are summer vacations more than 2 months and 1 Month winter vacation for 1st and 2nd year students but after that Students are encouraged to take up summer training or internships during the summer vacation so that they get exposure the program usually lasts four week but they also get one month in December and around 2–3 weeks in summers in bit bangalore according to previous students.

hey i gave my 12th in the year 2022 through maharashtra board bit could not clear my pcb aggregate hence in 2024 i again gave improvement through nios on demand where i cleared my pcb aggregate. so will my two marksheets be accepted by neet?

Hello,

Yes, NEET will accept your two marksheets. The National Testing Agency, who conduct NEET allows you to utilize the improvement marks from the open boards like NIOS. As you passed your 12th PCB aggregate in the year 2024 from the NIOS On-Demand Examination you can combine both, the marks of year 2022 under the Maharashtra Board as well as the marks of year 2024 under the NIOS.

So, take a care to note that on both your marksheets - the Maharashtra Board and NIOS, your qualification in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology should be reflected. You will require minimum 50% marks in PCB for the general category. For reserved categories, the marks must be at least 40%. Both the marksheets would be required at NEET counseling. Better to clarify with the authorities if any specific regional rules would apply at the time of counseling.
