NIAMT Ranchi Placements

National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT), Ranchi placement cell conductes placement drives with top companies for its final year degree students. As per the NIRF data 2024, 146 students secured placements during the year 2022-2023 with an NIFFT Ranchi average package of Rs. 8.80 LPA for UG graduates and Rs. 4.60 LPA for PG graduates.

The NIFFT placement cell aims at building up the skills of students and assists them to be of value to a company or industry in the future. NIFFT Ranchi has had an overall placement rate of 85% in the past decades. NIFFT Ranchi placement cell is Asia’s only institute that trains its students in the field of Foundry and Forge Technology along with Manufacturing & Metallurgical Engineering.

Decent placement scenario but the packages they offer even for B.tech graduates is quite low. It needs a lot of work from the college's placement cell side to invite good and reputed companies for recruitement.

Placement here is 100% in core branch as far as I know like in mechanical and metallurgy there has been companies like Mahindra BHEL jsw Vedanta Sen se electronic and computer engineering are the new branch so can't tell about their placement starts right now.
