AU Testqqwertweerrttytrrrr Placements

Assam University placement cell gives counselling services to the students aspiring to get placements in some of the best companies. As per the NIRF 2024 data, 97 UG students received placement offers in Assam University placements 2023. The median salary offered to 4 and 5 year UG graduates in Assam University placements was Rs 4.00 Lakhs and Rs 3.00 Lakhs respectively.

For PG graduates, the median salary offered in Assam University placements was Rs 4.50 Lakhs (2-year PG programmes) and Rs 3.30 Lakhs (Integrated PG programmes). A total of 511 students from PG courses were placed in Assam University placements from the batch of 2022-2023.

Assam University, Silchar placement cell also organises workshops and lectures by corporate professionals and placement consultants to help the students advance their careers. Students are also helped in their preparation of resume/biodata/curriculum vitae, along with the placement brochure. Assam University placement cell also engages in creating a detailed Employers’ Database for each department. This helps the students to trace out employment opportunities in India as well as abroad.

For a long time, Assam University students have been offered good placement opportunities in both public and private sectors. The last couple of years saw the participation of many companies in the Assam University placement programme. Students from almost all the departments participated in Assam University placements 2024.

Assam University Placement Procedure 2025

Stage 1: Assam University Placement Cell sends out invitations to various companies by enclosing the placement brochure. Interested recruiters, after confirming the invitation, fix a date for initiating the process.

Stage 2: Students have to register for Assam University placements with the Placement Cell of the university. After this, they have to go through the various stages of selection tests, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Step 3: After qualifying the final round of Assam University placement process, they are finally selected and offered jobs.

The placement cell is not strong and so final semester students are deprived of placement. From the placement scenario this college lacks it and the University administration should emphasize on it for the betterment of this University

The quality of placements is very fantastic. 90 percent student gets placed. The highest salary package ranges from 5 to 10 lpa. The placement process is very easy and the college administration and placement section are very supportive.

The quality of placement is pretty low out here. We hardly get any campus placement here. Though a few department has a some placement but not upto the market standard. So overall the university needs to work on its placement cell so that maximum people gets placed.
