Himachal Pradesh National Law University courses include BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, MBA and Ph.D programmes. NLU Shimla courses are offered in Law and Management streams. The duration of BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes at HPNLU is 5-years.
Whereas, HPNLU Shimla LLM courses are of 1-year duration. Admission to HPNLU Shimla BA LLB and BBA LLB courses is based on the CLAT examination, while for LLM course the institute accepts CLAT PG examination.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is good, but not yet up to the mark. The campus is relatively small, but considering the mountain terrain, it is good. Classrooms are well built, the library is good, hostels are comfortable and clean.

As himachal pradesh national law university is in its initial phase so the infrastructure is not so good but the library is in its best condition and internet is provided to both college and hostels and there are also the smart classrooms. The food is also hygienic.
