IIM Kozhikode Admission Process
Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode admissions are provided to PGP and Ph.D programmes. IIML admissions are offered in the stream of Management. IIM Kozhikode admission to the Ph.D programme is done based on the GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/JRF(NET)/IIMB Test examination scores.

IIM Kozhikode PGP Admission Process 2025
Students have to appear and qualify the CAT examination.
IIM Kozhikode will declare the CAT cutoff percentage.
Students who meet the cutoff declared by IIM Kozhikode can fill out the application form on the official website of the institute.
Further, students have to appear for an Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the student's performance in the WAT and PI.
Complete the admission process by submitting documents and paying the IIM Kozhikode fees.

IIM Kozhikode Ph.D Admission Process 2025
Candidates must qualify the GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF/IIMB Test to be eligible for IIITA Doctorate admissions.
Eligible candidates have to apply on the official website of the institute.
Based on their entrance score candidates are called for the area-specific test and personal interview.
Students applying for Economics specialisation should clear a IIMK written test along with the interview.
Students will be selected on the basis of their past academic performance, written test and personal interview performance conducted by the Institute.
Candidates selected need to deposit course fees and submit the documents to confirm their admission.

Note: Please note that Kozhikode, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi will be the locations for IIMK's Analytical Writing Tests and Personal Interviews. Candidates must select two cities on the CAT application form for both AWT and PI.

Teachers at IIMK for the MBA program were well qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching offered at our college was good. The professors at the college were supportive and helpful to the students. Both permanent and guest faculty were available at the college. The course curriculum of the college was relevant. Semester exams at the college were not that tough to pass.

IIMK has a wide campus with modern facilities for the interactive learning of students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, sports, medical, etc., facilities were available for the students. The quality of the offered facilities was good. The quality of the hostel facilities was also good enough.

Some teachers really know their way with the students and go beyond the normal classroom interaction. The MBA is a hectic course and one should only opt for it if he is sure of it. It is a value for money course and it makes an individual a great strategist, leader, and industry-ready.

The infrastructure of IIMK was well maintained and developed. Facilities offered to our course students were good enough. For the students' academics and knowledge development, various modern facilities such as the library, computer labs, Wi-Fi, projectors, etc. were provided here in the college. Hostel facility was available for the students. All the facilities of the college were of good quality. Multiple sports facilities were available in the college for the students.

- IIMA was established in 1961, while IIMK was in 1996
- IIMA has been accorded NIRF Ranking 1 while IIMK with NIRF Ranking of 4
- The course fee structure in IIMK was Rs 20.50 Lakhs while that of in IIMA

How good is IIM Kozhikode's 2 years PGP finance course as compared to traditional PGP course in terms of placements? Placement report not available for this particular course at IIM Kozhikode's site. Also which is better PGP Finance from Kozhikode or PGP from IIM Shillong?
PGP Finance is a much newer 2 Year Management Programme at IIMK. Incase you are interested in pursuing an MBA with Specialization in Finance, you may opt for this course.
