IIM Shillong Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Indian Institute of Management Shillong admissions are offered to MBA, MBA Working Executives, Post Graduate Programme for Executives, Ph.D, Ph.D Working Professionals programmes. Indian Institute of Management Shillong conducts the Executive Assessment Centre (EAC) phase for MBA Working Executive admission. 

IIM Shillong MBA admission is based on CAT scores followed by group discussions and personal interviews conducted by the institute. Candidates' performance in the GRE/GMAT/GATE/CAT/XAT or PGPWE Entrance Exam is considered for IIM Shillong Ph.D admission. When the results are released, aspirants must complete the IIM Shillong application form for the desired programme.

After admission, candidates are required to register at the IIM Shillong academic portal. Candidates should visit the given link erp.iimshillong.ac.in/academic/ to log in as a student. IIM Shillong login portal contains details of academic and personal information of the candidates.

At the postgraduate level, the institute offers an MBA, MBA Working Executive, and a Post Graduate Programme for Executives. The IIM Shillong PG course duration ranges from 1 to 2 years. Indian Institute of Management Shillong fees vary for the post-graduate programmes in Management and Business Administration. 

IIM Shillong MBA Eligibility Criteria

• First, aspirants must meet the IIM Shillong MBA eligibility criteria.

• Next, eligible candidates fill up the CAT form and select IIM Shillong as their preferred choice.

• IIM Shillong will release the CAT cutoff percentile. 

• Aspiring candidates need to meet the IIM Shillong CAT cutoff.

• Based on the CAT cutoff, IIM Shillong will shortlist candidates for the Personal Interview (PI).

• IIM Shillong's selection criteria for the MBA course are based on CAT performance, academic record, work experience, and performance in PI.

• Once assigned a seat, candidates must visit the IIM Shillong campus. 

• Get their documents verified and pay the IIM Shillong MBA fee.

• The candidates must meet the IIM Shillong PGPEx eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates have to appear for the CAT.

• Candidates must complete the online application form and submit it along with the IIM Shillong application fee.

• For admission to the IIM Shillong PGP course, scores of CAT/GMAT scores, academic performance, and work experience to shortlisted candidates.

• Following that, the shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview. 

• Once selected, must visit the campus and get the documents verified to complete the IIM Shillong admission process.

• Eligible candidates must fill out the application form first and submit it on the official website of the institute.

• Candidates must submit the Indian Institute of Management Shillong application fee.

• Next, shortlisted candidates have to appear for the Executive Assessment Centre (EAC).

• Candidates with valid scores in the CAT/GMAT are excluded from the written test.

• Aspirants are selected based on their academic record and professional experience, among other factors.

• Once assigned a seat, shortlisted candidates must get their documents verified and pay fees. 

The institute offers two doctoral programmes in Management and Business Administration. The duration of Indian Institute of Management Shillong Ph.D programme ranges from 3 to 4 years. 

IIM Shillong Ph.D Eligibility Criteria 

• First, students must meet the eligibility Criteria. 

• Eligible candidates have to fill out and submit the online application form.

• Following that candidates have to upload the application with CAT/GMAT/GATE/GRE/JRF (NET) scores.

• Following that, after including the self-attested documents and online receipt of the application fee, candidates have to send it to the Doctoral Programme Office address, which is available on the IIM-S website. 

• Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic record and professional experience.

• Shortlisted candidates are called for an evaluation/personal interview.

• Once the candidate gets the offer letter, he/she must visit the institute.

The IIM CAP results 2024 are released for the IIM Shillong MBA programme for the batch 2024-2026. Candidates can access the IIM Shillong results by entering their CAT registration number and DOB.
