Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The University has separate hostels for post-graduate and undergraduate students. An academic staff member works as the Warden of each hostel with a senior academic staff member of each of the colleges as the Chief Warden. Every hostel has been provided with a common room, hostel library, color TV, furniture for visitors room, indoor games room, and courts for Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Tennis, etc. The mess of each hostel is equipped with modern gadgets, utensils, and furniture besides refrigerators, water coolers, and LPG High pressure cooking gas connections.

The University's central library and other libraries of the University in different faculties cater to the information needs of students, faculty, researchers, scientists, trainees, and agricultural officers both in conventional as well as electronic formats. The library information system at MPUAT is partially automated, bar-coded, and digitized. The libraries provide a congenial environment to their readers with good ventilated and spacious reading rooms and also dedicated service.  The library has a collection of 71,500 reference books and has been subscribing to the print versions of 37 Indian Journals related to Agriculture.

The university has sports facilities for all students.

The university has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology is well-equipped with all the facilities. 

The university has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. All the major events and programs take place in the auditorium.

Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students. All the labs are air conditioned for the systems to work properly without overheating.

The university has a health centre with a first aid facility for the students. All the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology medical facilities are provided to the students when needed.
