Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur Facilities
The university provides many facilities for the growth and development of students. The facilities are also available for staff members. Solapur University facilities include boys hostel, girls hostel, IT infrastructure, library, medical clinic, sports, gym and wi-fi. The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls students. The hostel rooms are very comfortable and are well-furnished with furniture, appliances, etc. Solapur University facilities provide a trained doctor, qualified nurse, pharmacist and a visiting lady doctor on its campus. The university medical facility is free of cost for the students and staff members. There is a central library in Solapur University, which provides access to both physical and online resources. The library also implements the Earn and Learn Scheme, where the needy and poor students are paid while working and learning in the library. The university sports facility has both indoor and outdoor games. There is also a common gymnasium in the university.
- Boys Hostel
Solapur University boys hostel facility is comfortable for the accommodation of outstation students. There is a separate mess facility and a rector’s residence.
- Girls Hostel
Solapur University girls hostel facility has all the basic amenities and provides a separate mess along with a rector’s residence.
- Medical/Hospital
Medical/Hospital- Solapur University medical facility provides first-aid treatment to the students, teachers and staff members. The health centre is run smoothly by the university-trained doctor, pharmacist, qualified nurse and 3 days a week visiting lady doctor. The medical treatment is provided free of cost along with an emergency ambulance.
- Library
Solapur University library has many online and print resources. They include textbooks, reference books, periodicals, national and international journals, dissertations, theses, special publications, e-books, e-journals, etc. The library has subscribed to J-Gate and Delnet for online resources. The reading room is very spacious and remains open during examinations till 8 in the night. Poor and needy students can earn by working in the library while learning under the Earn and Learn Scheme.
- Sports
Both indoor and outdoor games are provided by the university sports department. The university also has a yoga training centre.
- I.T Infrastructure
IT Infrastructure- The university has its own website on Google cloud server and has Google apps. Solapur University IT infrastructure uses the latest technologies like mails, video instant messaging applications, cloud-based file storage, text voice, and many more as office productivity tools. The university also implements integrated cloud security and network security.
- Wifi
The university is fully wi-fi enabled and students and faculty members can access the facility for free.
- Gym
Solapur University gym facility is available for both boys and girls students. The university also provides a trained instructor for the students.

College Infrastructure
Campus is small considering the number of students enrolled in University. Laboratory facilities is very good in University. The central library in University has huge collection of books. It's government University and sometimes it lacks hygiene according to me.

The infrastructure is good . There is free wifi available in the computer labs , classrooms for the students for learning purpose . The campus is clean and there is also a canteen facility besides with the drinking water facility .
