Symbiosis International University Placement cell conducts recruitment drives so that the students can be placed in various sectors such as government sectors, private sectors and others. As per the NIRF 2023 report, 531 UG 3-year programme students were placed with Symbiosis Pune median salary package of Rs 7,65,000. 538 UG 4-year programme students were placed with a median salary package of Rs 8,90,000 during SIU Pune placements. 97 PG 1-year programme students were placed with Symbiosis Pune median salary package of Rs 5,31,000 while 2610 PG 2-year programme students were placed with a median salary package of Rs 20,80,000
Symbiosis Pune Placement Process
Invitation to the companies: SIU Pune invites companies to conduct recruitment drives.
Placement data fixation: Based on the mutual understanding between the SIU placement cell and the recruiters a particular day is fixed to conduct drives.
Placement schedule: The placement schedule is shared with the students to mark important dates.
Registration to participate in the recruitment drive: To participate in the recruitment drive, candidates are advised to get registered.
Shortlisting of registered candidates: Based on the academic requirements of the recruiters, candidates are shortlisted.
Delivery of pre-placement talk by the recruiters: Basic policies and insight into the companies are given to the students. The pre-placement talk test is taken by the companies to test the knowledge and skills of the students.
Conduction of various tests: Candidates are advised to qualify in the various tests conducted by the recruiters.
Group discussion: Candidates who are selected for the tests are advised to take up a topic to explain their viewpoints and to express their opinions.
Personal Interview: This helps the recruiters to analyse the potential of the students and whether they are suitable for the job or not.
Job Offer: Selected candidates are given offer letters with joining date, location, designation and the compensation offered to them.

Placements are also amazing as big companies like flipkart, tcs, reliance do visit our college every year. Around 90% of students got jobs or internships in companies. Final year students are eligible for sitting in the placements from various courses. Average salary package last year was around 6-7 LPA. And many got highest salary of 20+LPA in MBA courses.

I'll conclude that we Online students will also be getting the opportunity to be placed through the placement cell of the university (if we want to be placed so). The university will be letting us know if there will be any opportunity for the online and Digital Learning students.

CAT is not applicable for admission to Symbiosis Institute. They actually accept only SNAP scores for their admission process. So, if you're interested in getting admission, you'll need to appear for the SNAP exam. It's the only exam that will make you eligible for MBA in Symbiosis.
