VSICS Kanpur admissions are provided to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the institute. Dr Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies, Kanpur admissions are granted based on the merit of previous qualifying exam or entrance test followed by a counselling round. VSICS UG admissions to the BBA and BCA degree course are done based on the scores of 12th standard obtained by the candidates.
For VSICS PG admissions to the MBA and MCA programmes a valid scorecard of the UPCET entrance exam is required followed by a counselling round. Lastly, candidates have to get their documents verified at the VSICS Kanpur campus and pay the course fees.

Academics
Academics is good and impressive as teachers are supportive, helpful. The quality of teaching is also good as they provide updated curriculum and it includes all the recent developments in the industry field.
College Infra
College infrastructure is good only as many facilities are need to be improved. Classes are spacious but not having smart boards, laboratories with less equipment, Hostel facilities are not available. College having canteen with average quality food.
Placements
The quality of placement at the college is just an average as there are less opportunities for placement. The highest salary package 6LPA from the B.Tech and the average salary package offered is 2-3 LPA.

Amazing campus
Academics
The teachers are highly qualified and have ample amount of knowledge and are able to cater the needs of the students whatsoever related to the teaching. The course curriculum is well designed by the university. Yes the industry exposure is mandatory as a training internship is made mandatory in the curriculum.
College Infra
One of the best infrastructure in Kanpur. Well-equipped labs, A classrooms. Library for both computer application department as well as management department. Quality of food in the canteen is also good. I personally did not face any infrastructure related issues in the tenure.
Campus Life
These college campus life Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Computer Studies, Kanpur is very good with better features and students are engaged in college activities and learning skills.
Placements
The best placements record set by this campus. My seniors batch also had the best placement record and the current batch of mine (17-19) too had the best placement record. The highest placement record was mine that was in Byju's the learning app that was of 10 Lacs per annum. Companies like Byju's, GR industries, policy bazar and many other visited the campus. Yes there is a training and placement cell that functions efficiently.

Academics
The teachers are so friendly in nature, they are also helpful, and their qualifications are also good, and they are knowledgeable. And if this course is over, the students will get a good placement in a company. The semester exams are not so tough that if you study, you will get good marks, and the pass percentage is 36 percent.
College Infra
The college classrooms are quite specious, each having a capacity of about 80–100 students. However, the canteen is very small and it becomes suffocated. There is no playground on campus, but the college has a personal playground outside the campus.
Placements
After completing my BCA from this college, I got so many opportunities from giant companies like Wipro, Mindtree, Infosys, and Cognizant, and more importantly, they are giving us very important roles like analyst and WILP (Work Integrated Learning programme by Wipro). I got the highest package with BCA, i.e., 3.10 LPA, which is offered by Cognizant and the lowest package, which is 2.20 LPA in Infosys, so 80% of the students got the selection in top-notch giant companies like those I mentioned above.
