B.Tech Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2025-01-01
Academics
I am pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication because of less competition in placement in my college.The course requires less fees and very beneficial. Faculties are very cool minded and always ready to clear your doubts. Course curriculum is good for fundamentals which can be good start for entry level jobs.Curriculum is too good for further study and research. Semester exam has medium difficulty level with more than 75% passing rate.
College Infra
The infrastructure is very satisfying. it has green and clean campus of 160 acres. The academics is very good with classrooms with projectors. Smart classrooms are also available. Labs are very well-equipped with ethernet and Wi-Fi. Library is available with 10000+ books. The food quality both in hostel and college canteen is hygienic and testy. There is a guest house and faculty living space which is clean with good facilities.Gym and sport grounds are also too good.
Campus Life
College could be improve in social life, campus connectivity point of view. Events, fests, inter-college competitions should be conducted. There is no clubs, voting system, entrepreneurial cells in my college. There is groupism between students of some state which is trouble making. But students teacher relation is very good and the college location is in tangi town, where all emergencies are available.
Placements
The college has placement record of 80% hiring rate. TCS, Wipro, Tech mahindra, Apmosys, Bourntec, Ajatus,PCON utilities hire the students with around 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs CTC. The average in hand salary package is 3.6 lakhs per annum. In ENTC, Civil, EE,EEE branches students are hired in Ampin Energy, Thermax, bajaj electricals, L & T and many more. The highest salary was 9 lakhs package in the year 2009 in computer science. The career development cell and faculties are much supportive when it comes to placement.
Value For Money
In computer science the course fees per year is 1.5 lakhs and 65000 for hostel. The semester registration is 3500. In other branches course fee is 1.25 lakhs. The money is worth enough for placements and academics.

Academics
Academic faculty and teachers are good. They cover the syllabus on time but the semester duration is shorter as compared to the subjects. The first semester ends in three months but the content is to much. They take all tests and exams at once They are supportive. They interact with students.
College Infra
The infrastructure available are well furnished room, smart class with letest projector, good available books on library. The hostel facilities are good the fooding is fully veg and good hostel rooms attached bathroom, large eating hall, mini canteen available .
Campus Life
Campus life is really amazing
Placements
Placement percentage has not been good in all years. I think the institute should introduce new ideas and courses to improve placement. Large companies do not visit the campus. And off-campus interviews and jobs are difficult for every student. There are no placements this year.

Academics
The academic curriculum is good however it can be better being an autonomous institution it controls it own academics and syllabus. That is good but peers lack competition due to this the teachers frequently converse in odiya language which makes it difficult for other state students to understand.
College Infra
The college has a well built infrastructure and it is maintained very good. All the classrooms are well equipped with projectors and screens and are neat and clean. The hostel is neat and clean it also gives free WiFi with a decent speed. The hostel food quality should be taken care of.
Campus Life
The campus life should be improved. The students studying here lack basic communication skills and talk most of the time in local language which somehow makes it difficult for other students to understand. the College is situated in the outskirts which makes it quite difficult for connection to the main city
Placements
The placements of this college should be taken care of not many placements occur. Good. Companies come for recruitment, still they don't recruit much students. The average salary offered Is betwen 2.4-3.0 lacs. The college is somehow supportive when it comes to placements.
Value For Money
The institution gives a value for money. The facilities like hostel, classrooms, infrastructure are all well maintained which gives proper value of fees spent. The college fees is 90000 per year which is good for these facilities.
