    Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, New Delhi Facilities

    • Library

      It has over 26950 documents including textbooks, reference books, reports, theses, yearbooks, a bound volume of journals, manuals and case studies. and adds about 531 latest books and serials every year. It also subscribes to 186 current periodicals in print and electronic format. The library collection is classified according to the Universal Decimal Classification Scheme. The library is also providing regularly S&T research articles requested by scientists and researchers for their projects on interlibrary loans from various Institutions. INMAS library is the first Delhi-based DRDO library to subscribe to 52 electronic journals. The library has also activated electronic versions of print books and 48 print journals. The library is connected with DELNET, which connects it with various libraries in the Network and with all the Management institutes with AICTE affiliation. INMAS library is also a member of the DRDO E-Journals Consortium hosted at DESIDOC Delhi.

    • Laboratories

      The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) is a mandated multidisciplinary laboratory of DRDO engaged in R&D activities in the field of Radiation, Imaging Sciences, and CBRN technologies. INMAS is one of the very few Institutions that can boast of having an enviable contingent of highly skilled scientists, clinical researchers, and biomedical professionals working towards common goals and objectives. One of the charter is to establish a center of excellence in biomedical & clinical research with special reference to radiation, neurocognitive imaging, and CBRN research. The main thrust areas o¬f INAMS are the development of radioprotectors, the development of diagnostics and therapeutic approaches using noninvasive imaging techniques, neurocognitive and endocrine functional assessment of the human body.
