Being from Non Engineering Background, and secondly after Securing 99.94 Percentile in CAT, its highly unusual. However, it does happen, and you may have lost points for your average Academic Record as well as Points due to No Work Experience.

However, Do keep hope, as All IIMs have yet not released their Call Lists. Secondly, their are many Excellent Management Institutes other than IIMs like Management Schools of Top IITs like VGSOM, SJSOM, DMS IIT Delhi as well as Top Management Institutes like FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad, SPJIMR, NITIE and JBIMS Mumbai, and you must participate in the respective application processes.
