My department is sociology. The quality of teaching is okay okay. Professors are supportive, and friendly nature. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments and the program will definitely enhance your knowledge not just about the field of study but also about other life skills.
College Infra
The university has well-maintained classrooms, seminar halls, and have access to labs, central library and our own department section is also available in the library. There is hostel facility, gyms, and sports center and interestingly there is a swimming pool too. There is wifi connection in the hostel and classrooms too.
Placements
Placements cell is working fine and brings opportunities, workshops, internships for students but for sociology department it is very limited. The college should work more and make it better for arts stream students.

I'm have joined for bachelor of education and last year and the teachers of our department are very experienced and friendly behaviour. The curriculum is updated, and includes all the recent developments. I can say that after the course finishes i will be somewhere for sure.
College Infra
Tezpur University has very good infrastructure, facilities, and also there is a swimming pool which is very uncommon in universities. Our classroom have projectors, wifi, white boards etc. there is a library large varieties of books, and hostels also available.
Placements
I am just in 2nd year so we still did not get any placements. But the placements cell is working well and bringing many opportunities for students. The salary is good for technical courses. Let's see what it brings for us.

I'm doing my phd in commerce and so I can only tell about my guide who is very good at making you understand complex research topics into simpler things. and he also helps a lot in writing my thesis. and I know some juniors who told that other pg or ug courses departments are good, some professors are not that okay but still fine.
College Infra
The tezpur university has all the important facilities like hostels, wifi, smart boards and even swimming pools also available. The library is very big and all books are available. If anyone is fond of greenery this is the best place for them. Yes, they are all used and well maintained. Only hostel food quality is not good.
Placements
As I am in my Phd so I don't have such placements opportunity, but the course will really make you job ready for any future opportunity. Other technical departments has really good placements on campus.
