IIM Udaipur (IIMU) Admission Process
Indian Institute of Management Udaipur admissions are offered to MBA and Ph.D programmes. To be considered for IIM Udaipur admissions, students must take the CAT/GMAT/GRE/NET-JRF. IIM Udaipur admissions are done based on the CAT/GMAT/GRE scores.
IIMU Ph.D admissions are offered based on the performance in CAT/GMAT/GRE/NET-JRF followed by a Research Aptitude Test and PI. Candidates shortlisted for the IIMU admissions must appear for a Personal Appearance (PA) process at the IIM Udaipur, which is divided into two segments, based on the IIM Udaipur cutoff: the Written Ability Test (WAT) and the Personal Interview (PI) round.

At postgraduate levels, the institute offers a total of 4 postgraduate programmes in full-time and part-time modes. IIMU PG programmes are offered in the Management and Business Administration stream. The duration of these 4 programmes ranges from 1 to 2 years.
IIM Udaipur MBA Eligibility Criteria
IIM Udaipur EMBA Admission Process 2025
IIM Udaipur admission to the EMBA course is entrance-based and requires scores on the GMAT/GRE/CAT/IIMU Admission test. (Note: the IIMU Test is an online test conducted on Sundays and can be taken from anywhere.)
After qualifying for the entrance test, shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview.
Then, academic profile, work experience, score in the GMAT/GRE/CAT/IIMU Test and performance in the personal interview will be considered to give admission.
Selected candidates should get their documents verified and pay the IIMU fees to confirm admission.
IIM Udaipur MBA Admission Process 2025
Aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the courses.
Next, eligible candidates have to fill up the CAT form, select IIMU college and programme on it, and pay the IIM Udaipur application fee.
The institute will declare the cut-off percentage for CAT.
Applicants need to meet the IIM Udaipur MBA cutoff.
The institute will shortlist the candidates for Personal Interview. All the details will be available on the website of IIM Udaipur.
Candidates must appear for PI, which is conducted online.
IIM Udaipur considers factors such as academic record, CAT performance, work experience, and more.
After being shortlisted, the candidates must submit the document for verification and university enrolment.
IIM Udaipur Admission Process (MBA GSCM and MBA DEM Programmes)
Eligible candidates must appear and qualify for the GMAT/CAT.
Next, candidates must fill out the online application form.
Candidates are shortlisted by the IIMU college for the personal interview.
Shortlisted candidates must appear for PI at the IIMU campus.
Acceptance for admission is based on the candidate's demographic profile, academic profile, work experience, GMAT/GRE/CAT score, and a personal interview.
Once assigned a seat, candidates must get their documents verified and pay the IIM Udaipur fees.
IIM Udaipur Ph.D Admissions 2025
At the doctoral level, the institute offers 6 Ph.D programmes in Management and Business Administration. The duration of the Ph.D programme is 5 years.

Academics
I am a finance guy and some of the professors at the institute are real gems in the field of finance and teaching. The college emphasises on case-based learning along with group assignments that inculcate the habit of teamwork in the students. Students also get a chance to go on STEP, that is, student exchange programme, to learn different cultures and explore new opportunities for 3 months during the fifth term.
College Infra
The all new Balicha campus, that is our permanent campus, is well equipped with world class academic as well as sports facilities. Sports played at the campus include football, table tennis, volleyball, badminton etc. A doctor is available 24*7 on the campus for any medical emergencies. There is also a stationary and grocery store inside the campus. Classrooms are spacious and well designed.
Placements
Placements are great at IIM U. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, KPMG, Bajaj Auto, Genpact, NMC Healthcare etc visit the campus for final placements to hire students for varied roles like equity research, analytics, e-commerce, sales and marketing. The average package for the 2014-16 batch stood at 11.9 lakh. 100% students got placed for both summer internships as well as final placements.

Academics
IIM Udaipur has one of the best faculty bases among the IIMs. The members are very friendly and stay in the office for many hours after the college for any student to reach out in case they have any query. The course curriculum puts an equal emphasis on learning theoretical concepts and applying them in real life business problems through cases.
College Infra
The infrastructure facilities are awesome. We have 3 hostels, each equipped with its own common room which is generally used for club and committee meetings. We also have a playing ground, bloomberg terminals, good wifi connectivity etc. Class-rooms are world-class with projector and mic for professors, along with charging sockets (for laptop) for each student.
Placements
Placements were pretty good for our senior batch. The highest domestic package was Rs. 21.5 lakhs pa and the highest international package was Rs. 25 lakhs pa. The average package of the entire batch was Rs. 11.9 lakhs pa, with all the students getting placed. Even the summer internship witnessed 100% placements. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Crisil etc. visited the campus for final placements.

Teachers are very well and qualified with a high level of expertise. They are really helpful with wonderful quality. The course curriculum is relevant and is very well designed to meet the real-world expectations from corporates. It makes the students industry-ready. The course curriculum includes a wide range of subjects and gives a good hand of all the functions. So I have chosen this course. More case studies and practical applications should be added, and that could be helpful.
College Infra
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Bloomberg lab with 12 fully equipped terminals is provided. The library is available with books from multiple functions including analytics, finance, marketing, human resources and various other management books. Classrooms are newly built and well designed. Double occupancy rooms are available in the hostel. Mess food is bad, and medical facilities are decent. Sports facilities are also bad.
Placements
Almost 100% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is 27 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 8 LPA, and the average salary offered is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Goldman Sachs, Pidilite, ICICI Lombard, and HDFC Bank visited the campus. Top roles offered are general Management and product management. Almost 100% of the students got an internship.
