Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS)

The candidate should be a citizen of India.

Students should have passed the 12th class from a recognized board or equivalent.

Candidates must have studied Tamil as one of the subjects in the 10th or 12th class.

Candidates should have appeared in the NEET exam with a valid scorecard.

Candidates who have not studied Tamil will have to study Tamil as an additional subject during the 1st Professional BSMS session for 18 months.

NIS Chennai BSMS Admission Procedure

Interested candidates have to apply for the NIS Chennai UG admission on or before the specified date.
Candidates are shortlisted based on the NEET score.
Candidates who are shortlisted are invited to appear in the counselling session.
Once the seat is confirmed, candidates have to pay the required admission fee.

NIS Chennai MD Admission 2024

For NIS Chennai MD admission, candidates must have completed Siddha graduates with a BSMS Degree. Candidates can get the other NIS Chennai admission details like seat intake and eligibility details from the table below.

NIS Chennai MD Admission Procedure

Candidates need to apply for the NIS Chennai PG admission on or before the due date.
Candidates are shortlisted based on the AIAPGET score.
Those who are shortlisted are called to appear in the counselling process.
Once the seat is confirmed, candidates have to pay the required admission fee.

Note: Out of 58 seats in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Siddha course, one seat is reserved for candidates from foreign Countries.
