IIIT Kota Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D programmes. IIIT Kota B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Main examination. While IIIT Kota admission to Ph.D course is done based on a written test and interview process.

Whereas IIIT Kota admission into M.E/M.Tech is done based on GATE scores acquired by the students followed by CCMT counselling. Candidates must meet the IIIT Kota academic eligibility criteria before applying for admissions.

IIIT Kota UG admission is offered for the 4-year BE course. All the IIIT Kota UG admission aspirants are given admission into the courses based on the eligibility norms. 

IIIT Kota B.Tech Seat Intake and Eligibility Criteria:

• Aspirants should appear for JEE Main.

• Candidates should score at least minimum eligible score in the entrance exams. 

• Candidates meeting the IIIT Kota cutoff are shortlisted on merit.

• Shortlisted students are advised to appear for the JoSAA counselling process.

• Aspirants are advised to give a choice of preference as IIIT Kota during counselling process for seat allocation.

• Based on the student's performance in the counselling process seats are allotted.

• Seats are allotted through the central seat allocation board(CSAB). 

Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication, and Information Technology are the different areas of study in which the IIIT Kota PG admission 2024 is offered. Aspirants are advised to meet the prerequisites as prescribed by the institute. IIIT Kota admission into PG programme is offered full-time for a duration of two years.

IIIT Kota M.Tech Seat Intake and Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should meet the necessary credentials before applying.

• Aspirants should appear for the GATE exam.

• Valid GATE scores are accepted for the IIIT Kota admission.

• Aspirants are shortlisted on merit based on the scores acquired by the candidates in the entrance exam. 

• Shortlisted merit students are advised to appear for the CCMT counselling process.

• IIIT Kota Seat Allotment 2024 is done based on the student’s performance in the counselling process.

• Once the seats are allotted candidates are advised to pay the course fee to get the seats reserved.

The CCMT counselling seat allotment round 2 result for admission to M.Tech programmes has been released by the NIT Surat on June 24, 2024. To check their result candidates need to visit the ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Candidates need to use their GATE registration id and password to know their seat allotment result. Candidates who are allotted seats need to submit the documents for verification and pay the registration fees.

Candidates interested in research courses are offered at the institute. Aspirants are offered doctoral courses in varied disciplines of study. IIIT Kota Ph.D. course is offered full-time for a duration of 6-years. 

IIIT Kota Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Aspirants should have valid scores of GATE before applying.

• Candidates without any scores are advised to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. 

• Aspirants are shortlisted on merit basis.

• Merit students are advised to appear for the interview process.

• Seats are allotted based on the students' performance in the interview process.

• Course fees should be paid by the students to get the allotted seats reserved.

• Upon the confirmation of IIIT Kota admission aspirants are advised to get the documents verified.
