IIITM Gwalior Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior admissions are offered to courses including B.Tech, B.Tech+M.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D. For IIITM Gwalior B.Tech admissions, students have to appear for JEE Main examination. 

For IIITM Gwalior M.Tech admissions GATE examination is considered and for the MBA admissions CAT examination is considered. While for IIITM Gwalior Ph.D admissions, the IIITM Gwalior conducts an aptitude test followed by a counselling session.

Candidates seeking IIITM Gwalior admissions should apply via IIITM Gwalior students portal. Login portal can be accessed by using the login id and password of the student. Candidates can get every information on IIITM Gwalior admissions, courses and fees by logging in to IIITM Gwalior admissions portal.

Only 3 courses are offered by IIITM Gwalior at the UG level, out of which 2 are Integrated 5-year programmes. B.Tech is offered for a duration of 4 years.

IIITM Gwalior UG Seat Intake and Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking IIITM Gwalior B.Tech admissions must apply by filling the online application form.

• Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria need to appear for the JEE Main 2025 and secure valid marks.

• After securing valid marks in JEE Main, candidates need to apply through JoSAA counselling.

• During the counselling, candidates need to fill college choices and select IIITM Gwalior as the first choice.

• Candidates will be allotted seats for IIITM Gwalior admissions on the basis of JEE Main score during the counselling process.

• The process of admission will come to an end with the payment of IIITM Gwalior fees and verification of documents.

IIITM Gwalior admissions are based on the JEE Mains result. Results of the JEE Mains April 2024 session will be out on 25th April 2024. Students can check their result by going on jeemain.nta.ac.in. 

Candidates seeking IIITM Gwalior B.Tech admissions have to go through JoSAA counselling process after their qualification in entrance exam. Registrations for JoSAA counselling 2024 will commence tentatively from 10th June, 2024.

The institute offers two courses at the PG level i.e. M.Tech and M.B.A. IIITM Gwalior M.Tech course is offered in 4 specialisations while M.B.A is offered in 3 specialisations.

IIITM Gwalior PG Seats and Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking IIITM Gwalior M.Tech admissions must meet the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates must fill the IIITM Gwalior application form released on the official website. 

• Eligible candidates have to apply and appear for GATE.

• After securing eligible marks in the GATE examination candidates must apply for the CCMT counselling.

• The selection of candidates is done on the basis of the candidate's GATE ranking and performance in the CCMT counselling. 

• Candidates selected for IIITM Gwalior M.Tech admission need to visit the campus.

• Candidates need to complete the document verification and fee payment to secure admission.

• Candidates seeking admission must fulfil the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates have to apply and appear for CAT.

• Applicants who have a valid score in the CAT are invited for a round of group discussion.

• The GD is followed by a round of personal interviews. 

• Final selection is based on the score of CAT, group discussions and personal interview of the candidate. 

The CCMT counselling seat allotment round 2 result for admission to M.Tech programmes has been released by the NIT Surat on June 24, 2024. To check their result candidates need to visit the ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Candidates need to use their GATE registration id and password to know their seat allotment result. Candidates who are allotted seats need to submit the documents for verification and pay the registration fees.

The Ph.D course of IIITM is offered in 3 specialisations in information technology, applied sciences and management and these courses are offered for a duration of 6 years.

IIITM Gwalior Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible candidates must fill the online IIITM Gwalior admissions application form.

• Applicants will have to appear for an aptitude test conducted by the institute.

• The candidates who clear the test, have to appear for a round of counselling.

• The institute releases a list of shortlisted candidates. 

• The final shortlisted candidates have to visit the campus for verification of documents and payment of IIITM Gwalior fees.
