Academics
I am in the CSE with specialisation in Data Science & Analyst branch of B.Tech. Our all the faculty members are PHd holders and mostly completed their PHd from IITs. All the faculty are very supportive in the college .Our syllabus is updated but apart from syllabus our professors suggest and advice us to take take part in seminars,events,competitions and any other tech related events.
College Infra
Currently our college IIIT Sonepat is running in transit campus "SBIT". Here our all the classes are running at here and all the office work also. In the transit campus classes have ACs, projectors or smart boards. Labs have well equipped instruments , wifi and ACs. There is a library also from where you can easily take your course books.
Our permanent campus will be completed by Jan 2026.Therefore there is 90% chance of shifting our classes to permanent campus in jan 2026 after semester break.
Campus Life
I have made a lot of good friends who are doing very well in the college in terms of academic and non-academic .Currently many of my friends are doing internship in 1st year and there is one of my friend who cracked GSOC in 1st year. So the overall coding environment is excellent. But due to temporary campus we have only one fest which is sports fest "AGNITO" only.
Our transit campus is in SBIT in Pallri, 4km away from Bahalgarh, Sonepat.
Placements
We have a separate TnP cell for the placements. Many of my seniors have got placement from the college but many also taken the placement from off-campus.
The overall placement percentage in 2024 is approx 65% and the highest package is 40LPA and the overall package is 15.87LPA.
Many of my seniors also got internship from amazon,microsoft etc.
Value For Money
My college IIIT Sonepat is based on PPP (Public - Private Partnership) model. Our only tution fees per year is 1,80,000 rupees and the overall fees per year is around 2,00,000 rupees but it not includes hostel and mess fees. Well i think when we will shift to permanent campus then this cost of fees will worth it.

Academics
Academics are pretty good here. Though you may feel weird about the first semester subjects but the subjects from second year onwards are really interesting. I would had given 5 star to them if there wouldn't had been a subject called Applied Science or Pure Physics in the first semester itself.
College Infra
Although our current transit campus is in a local closed up private college, it doesn't matter that much to me but it impacts the enthusiasm for programming in a negative way. We are not able to get the coding culture we require but atleast the professors are coordinating in nature. Wi-Fi is available but mainly in the labs. Hostels are currently owned by private vendors so a bit expensive.
Campus Life
The best part of the college according to me is the event time: In February, we have our sports fest, in September, a workshop, in August a hackathon. Though I still am not able to make it to the last two, I shall try to make for the first one.
Placements
The placement rate, average and median package are satisfactory, especially for middle class background people like me. The companies visited ask for only skills except 1 or 2 which put CGPA as the first and foremost criteria.
Value For Money
Can't say with certainty whether it's worthy or not but if you're getting even a package of 8-10 lpa, I think it's sufficient for most Indians who are from middle class background. But apart from money, you get good knowledge and it's the most important thing.

I am computer and science engineering (CSE) . I am studying cse because of my on choice and there is also many option for improvement of ourself , faculty is dedicated to teach us with their all effort .
College Infra
there is a very good infrastructure and nice area all around .
campus is wifi and canteen is also good and canteen food really taste good and there is safe environment for girls , for going there is also transportation service also.
Campus Life
campus life is very good and it provide safe and nice enviroment to all of them
Placements
there is a good placement rate at which student get placement and high package on avg their is 16 lac and higher more than 35 lac , faculty prepare you for placement . you can get through many changes but placement faculty is very nice
Value For Money
there is 2 semester per year and each semester is of 6 month . and you have to submit per semester aprox 1 lac . but it is worth to investment in this college . college provide different program to enchance our skill.
