The number of IIT Delhi placement offers have been increased by 20% from 2023. Around 400 national and international organisations offered more than 800 job profiles across various sectors. According to the IIT Delhi NIRF 2024, 676 UG (4-year) students were placed with an average salary of Rs 20.00 lakhs, 92 PG (5-year) students were placed with a median salary package of Rs 22.00 lakhs and 432 PG students were placed by IIT Delhi placement cell with the average salary of Rs 17.00 lakhs.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers placements for all levels of students. The IIT Delhi has a separate placement cell which conducts the final placement activities on campus. Over 50 students received a domestic salary package of more than Rs 1 Cr per annum during the IIT Delhi placements drive programme. IIT Delhi placement cell also organises various placement drives and conducts training sessions to the students.
