IIT Indore Scholarships
The college offers extended financial aid and scholarships to students. IIT Indore Scholarships are available for the candidates pursuing their course at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The Indian Institute of Technology Indore scholarships are offered as tuition fee remissions, reimbursements, and allowances for maintenance, etc. Students with a good academic record, SC/ST category students and students with disabilities can avail of the IIT Indore scholarships.
The MCM/CSS IIT Indore scholarships are for students whose annual family income is less than five lakhs per year. Among merit-based scholarships, the FEE IIT Indore scholarship can be availed by students with a JEE Advanced score of more than 152 and should have an annual family income of less than Rs. 1.80 lakhs. B.Tech Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
All the faculties are experienced and all the labs are well equipped. Students indulging in research get access to lab equipments and research is conducted under professor's guidance. All the faculties have subject matter expertise.
College Infra
Very good Hostel Infrastructure. All the lecture halls and the dining halls are equipped with air conditioning. The architecture of the buildings is beautiful and there is walking distance between the classes, labs, mess and hostels.
Campus Life
The campus is underdeveloped so there isn't much in the campus but whatever there is , is good. Sports facilities are in abundance and also fully equipped gym is present. A lot of greenery can be seen especially in the rainy season.
Placements
Even in this time of extreme economic slowdown, Placements at IITI have been great. The average package for all the branches is well above 15 lpa. More than placements, research is promoted here which leads students to admission in prestigious universities abroad for higher studies.
Value For Money
The total fees paid for the college is around 10-12 lakhs for a general candidate(including hostel and mess) but the average package is definitely more than 12 lakhs so ROI is very good. On top of that the hostels are excellent and the mess is also decent.

Faculty members in our college are PhD holders. They are very very friendly and very nice.So in the 1st semester, you will have some subjects from communication, some from electronics, and some from the computer science department. After the 1st semester, you will get to choose electives, and you will get a degree of ICT course
College Infra
The campus is very and extremely good and eco-friendly. It has hostels for boys and girls. It also has 5 canteens, and you will get all types of food like Gujarati, south Indian and Punjab, with good quality at low prices. The college also has many labs for a specific domain like IR, SPEECH and many more.
Placements
Placements in our college are outstandingly amazing. Companies like Amazon, Media.Net, and many more visit the campus for placements with exciting salary packages. The college is trying very hard to get many amazing companies to the campus in future. The college can invite companies, but placements always depend on your performance.

Hi there.
According to the census , IIT indore is new and hence the companies that visit are less as compared to others.
But as you know that IIT is always good than NIIT . but this totally depends upon you.
As if you get an IIT than its not necessary for you to go for placement. As you can get a job anyway. So if you go by fame , then IIT is best .

Sir Mtech Vlsi i n IIT Indore or vlsi in NIT Surathkal which is better for placement?
Well certainly one might think that IIT Indore is a new institute as compared to NIT Surathkal which has proved decades of excellence. But the thing is IIT Indore is one of the fastest growing institutes in the country and the best new IIT among all others. So i guess IIT Indore can be preferred over NIT Surathkal.

If you are willing to take admission in one of the top college of India such as IIT then admission criteria is your 12th marks and JEE mains+JEE advanced percentile. You have to appear for JEE mains exams. Now, if you under SC category then your 12th marks are enough but try to score in JEE exam for taking admission in good branch of IIT college in India. Best of luck for your exams.
