B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027-01-01
Academics
I'm currently perusing B-Tech in Computer Science and Engineering branch. Academics here are very good. The curriculum is updated and professors are very helpful and approachable. Teaching uses boards, PPTs and discussions making concept easier to understand. There are regular quizzes, midsems, and endsems, along with practical and real-life project work that help us apply what we learn.
College Infra
The infrastructure of my IIT is truly outstanding. The campus is spread about 525 acres in Ropar, Punjab, and is beautifully green and peaceful. We have a Lecture Hall complex along with the classrooms and seminal hall in every department. The library, auditorium, and labs are all modern and well equipped. The hostels are newly built with great facilities, and the campus also has a full sports complex with ground for cricket, football, basketball, hockey and more. Overall the campus feels modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable for students.
Campus Life
Campus life at my IIT is peaceful and fun. The campus isn't crowded, with spots like SAB, Rose garden and many more. Clubs, DJ nights, and events keep evening lively and the campus is always safe to roam anytime.
Placements
The placement quality at my IIT is quite good. A large percentage of students from almost every branch get placed each year, especially in CSE where placements are very strong. Many well-known companies visit the campus offering good packages. The average package of CSE is approx. 22 LPA. The placement process is smooth and the Career Development and Placement Cell guides students at every step, from preparation to final offers.
Value For Money
Each semester costs around Rs.1,20,000 along with hostel and mess fees, and considering the quality of facilities, academics, hostels, sports and overall campus life, the fees feel completely worth it. The institute provides excellent resources, modern infrastructures and great opportunities, making it outstanding value for money.

Academics
I am pursuing Doctor of philosophy in biomedical Engineering with specialization in medicinal chemistry. Proffesors are very much supportive in research conduction work. Curriculum is not updated and contains old datas.
College Infra
IIT Ropar is one of the newest IITs in India. Infrastructure is very good and since it is new college is has all the modern state of art facilities available. Hostels are very good and are well equipped for comfortable lodging and boarding. Hostel rooms have water coolers installed.
Placements
The overall placements from IIT Ropar is around 20 lakhs per annum. There is no relevant data available for Doctor of Philosophy placements from the same. The highest placements was of Rs. 50 lakhs per annum.

B.Tech Civil Engineering - Batch of 2027-01-01
Academics
In our collage many courses are there like btech in Computer science, electrical, mechanical, civil, artificial intelligence, chemical. Mtech and phd are also available in our collage. Teaching quality is also very good.
College Infra
All the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments are there in our collage. There are separated department building are there. Wifi facilities is all over in the campus. Smart boards are also present in all the classes. Living spaces are also clean.
Campus Life
Campus of IIT Ropar is very beautiful. Here all the facilities are good. Many gardens are there is in collage. Sports complex is also have maany facilities. Stationary, canteen and medical shops facilities are good.
Placements
Many students are placed from our collage. Many of the students are placed in sde section. Almost 80 percent students are placed in various companies. Average salary offered to the students is 20-22 lac per annum.
Value For Money
Our collage course fees are based on the family incomes of the students like if a student have family incomes less than 1 lac per annum then he have to pay 8000 per semester. If family income is greater than 8 lac per annum then he have to pay full institute fee.
