Decent new IIT with strong CSE placements.

Teaching in M.Tech CSE here is solid with good professors from old IITs and NITs who support a lot. Courses cover many topics and theres fractal system which helps learn flexible. Quality of education is nice and you get chances for research too. But workload can be heavy sometime. Faculty are helpful and make learning interesting.

      College Infra

The infrastructure at IIT Bhilai is coming up good for a new college. They got modern classrooms with air conditioners and high speed wifi all over campus. Hostels are comfy with AC too but some parts still under construction which make it feel incomplete sometimes. Labs are equipped nicely for CSE work though. Overall its energetic and strong but needs more time to fully develop.

      Campus Life

Campuslife is fun with clubs for everything and events that keep it vibrant. Seniors are friendly and help out. Less crowd mean more chance to join activities. Hostels got AC and theres extracurriculars for growth. But being new some feel its limited compare to big campuses. Overall good for all round devlopment.

      Placements

Placements for M.Tech CSE is great with 100% record in recent years. Highest package go up to 48 LPA and average around 15-16 LPA. Many companies come and students get same chance as B.Tech. Its improving every year compare to other new IITs. But some years lower like 80% overall.

      Value For Money

Value for money is decent because its IIT so fees not too high and you get good return from placements. IIT tag helps in career and education worth it. Better than private colleges for sure but if you expect old IIT level maybe not yet. Still worth joining for CSE.

The professors are knowledgeable and qualified. You can choose what courses you want to take after your 2nd year. We have 3 main exams in a semester. They are of intermediate level. Sometimes, it depends on the course you've taken. Most of the students who study well pass the exams.Good faculty all are experienced and good presenters also good environment in exam. All the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable teaching quality is good course curriculum are relevant yes it will make a student industry semester exam are fine and fare with pass percentage of 40% that is 4 CGPA out of 10.

      College Infra

Academic building is fully furnished with air conditioners and it has high-speed Wi-Fi network in the whole building as the campus is not the permanent campus of IIT Bhilai, it is managed from the building of government engineering college, Raipur, library has good no of books of almost all necessary topics, and also has a UPSC corner for UPSC aspirants, sports facilities are also available such as badminton, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. And hostel has good Wi-Fi connection and mess food is average. The hostel is a bit crowded, especially for girls.

      Placements

Placements are good in it's very first placement session 100% registered student are placed. Many companies are coming here.100% student are placed in CSE and 88% in ee and 80% in mechanical other are going to study abroad some are started startup by choice. As such, seeing the current level of students, I can say that particularly for my branch, placements are going to rock and for others, it's good. The average package is going to be around 10 LPA.

The teachers at IIT Bhilai are highly skilled. They are educated at various IITs and international schools. With confidence, one can easily understand the topic when they teach you in any subject, and they are very helpful and never hesitate to answer our doubts. Our course curriculum is very relevant and is inspired by the Massachusetts Institute of technology.

      College Infra

Our college provides a very good Wi-Fi facility in our hostel. The food served in our mess is not appreciable. Sports activities are conducted, but due to less number of grounds, it affects practice. There are various departments in IIT Bhilai like CSE, EE, DSAI, Mechatronics, Material Science, and Metallurgy. There are many classrooms and two lecture halls with capacities of 300 to 500. The main attraction of IIT Bhilai is the library, which is surrounded by water bodies and greenery.

      Placements

In this semester, almost 90% of the students were placed with the highest salary package of 19 LPA and the average salary package of 10 LPA and the lowest salary package of 6 LPA. The top recruiting company for our course was Amazon. We also got placements in other IITs under other those professors who are from IITs and NITs. I don't know much about top roles offered in our course. The placement of our college is very good. every week in September and October one company come for placement of students.

      Hello reader,

IIT BHILAI IS A GOOD COLLEGE???

      Hi Aspirant

Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai, is one of the 6 IITs which was established in the year 2016 in the state of Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. It is also known as IIT Bhilai. The college is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

      NIT Raipur or IIT Bhilai??????

      Dear aspirant,

If you were to go by my opinion then i think you should take iit bhilai only if you get non core branches but if you are not getting non core branches then i don't think you should iit bhilai as it's newer iit.

      Whereas nit Raipur is
