The college have its well academic reputation.the college has 7 btech branches And the college organises regular seminar,hackathons and workshop.the faculty of the college are quite supportive as they give good advice to students for their projects and college also support the startup culture by funding,mentoring and many more.

The college infrastructure is quite impressive.it has advanced material for research.the location of the college is quite peaceful as it is located on hills.the view from the college the atmosphere that are quite amazing. Faculties in classroom are quite amazing it has all necessary equipments. Hostels are quite hygienic the connection of wifi for the students are well. Students who are interested in sports the college give well support as it has several clubs for sports and other activities too. The event in the college take place in regular interval of time.

Placements

The placement records of iit mandi is quite impressive as it calls many companies for placement in the college.the placement rate varies between 70 to 80 percent.now a days company are focusing on skills more than the cgpa so the college has also started working on skills.most of the students in cse got placed by more than 20 lpa.

Academics

Exams are comparatively less difficult than other IITs. Many exams are MCQ type and much easier than JEE advanced. Some exams are memory-based. In other IITs, questions are much tougher then in IIT. I feel this course is much relevant. The pass percentage is 20-40%.

College Infra

This college provides very modern hostels with many facilities. There are many washing machines, heaters, electric irons, television, electric kettle, etc., for every hostel. Sports facilities are good. The quality of hostel life is better than other IITs. It also provides elevators

Placements

In mainly ph.d people opt for research thing .Around 50% of students are placed. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Cisco, Larsen and Toubro, some telecom companies, Google, Apple, Microsoft, and much more. The internships ratio is good. Almost everyone gets a chance for internships in any year.

Academics

All teachers need a Ph.D. degree to teach in IIT, so there's no doubt about their qualifications. The curriculum is the same for all branches in the first year. Students are industry ready because of the good labs and realistic competitions.

College Infra

Mess food depends on individual experiences but it's normally just enough for the strength. They charge Rs.100 per day. The canteen is nice, we have 3 canteens and all are good but sometimes it's hard to get them because of long lines and surplus orders. The sports facilities are very good and it's split up into 2 parts.

Placements

Our college has the best placements from companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, and many more. Many big companies are being approached by our cnp (career & placement) cell, which is the best cell in IIT Mandi. Many big companies are being approached by our placement cell. Also, the placement percentage in such cases is always greater than 98%.
