Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi offers a variety of scholarships to students. IIT BHU scholarships are offered to meritorious students based on their annual family income. Students whose annual family income is less than Rs. 4,50,000 per annum (varies for SC/ST students) are eligible to apply for IIT BHU scholarships. 3. IIT BHU Scholarship for M. Tech/M. Pharm: All students admitted to M. Tech/M. Pharm are provided financial assistance equivalent to Junior Research Fellowship.
4. Junior/ Senior Research Fellowship: The institute offers many Junior /Senior Research Fellowship to students admitted to PhD programmes and efforts are made largely to offer scholarship to eligible candidates admitted to PhD Programmes.

Academics
Here, the teachers are highly qualified and have expertise in their domains. Their teaching style is also very unique. As far as semester exams are concerned, it does not require a lot of hard work to clear them. The course curriculum needs to be updated so that it can be industry-ready.
College Infra
The infrastructure of this IIT needs to be improved as far as other IITS are concerned. We will find decent hostels situated on campus. It also has its own mess, which provides decent food. Classrooms are also well-equipped with modern facilities. Here, the library has very limited capacity so it needs to be expanded.
Placements
We will have ample employment opportunities. Placements are among them. Placements in our college are good enough, around 85 to 90 percent. We will be eligible for the placements after 3rd semesters onwards.

The teachers are IIT Varanasi was very much experienced and helpful they all are PhD holders and provide the good knowledge which is helpful in future. Yes teachers were held so many programs for student and curriculum makes us job ready.
College Infra
IIT Varanasi have good infrastructure of the class is awesome and worth the fee you are paying. There are air conditioned classrooms having smart boards. Wi-Fi facilities are available for the students both in the college campus and the hostel.
Campus Life
The campus Life is good.
Placements
The placement is good that's right IIT has a good placement. From our batch approx 50 percent student were placed at the good places. The average package was provided by IIT Varanasi starts from 15 LACS annually.
Value For Money
The college is value for money.

All the teachers in the institute have completed their Ph.D. and have prior teaching experiences. They provide quality notes as well as good discussion opportunities. The course curriculum is very much aligned with the requirement of the industry. Hence, it prepares the students well to get ready to work for industries. The semester exams are not very difficult and the pass percentage is around 97 percent of the total student strength.
College Infra
The department offers a wide range of amenities. The classrooms can accommodate up to 170 students.
Labs have all kinds of equipment for performing experiments as well as research work. The department also has its own library to issue as well as read books of topics related to the course. The building of the department is well connected through WIFI. The hostel provides all kinds of basic amenities.

Banaras Hindu University campus life is outstanding best IIT college

In the course, about 93 percent of students are placed. The highest package went about INR 52 Lacs and lowest was INR 8 Lacs with an average of INR 18 Lacs. i would get 184 marks in gpat exam this year and 70 percentage in bpharma .so is there any chance can i get admission in iit bhu
IIT BHU has four different for M. Pharmacy which are Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy so they declared cutoff ranks according to your marks for each category every year cutoff changes due to various factors.They called 7 times more number students for counseling than the total seat available there.some application also get rejected because of not having gpat score and lack of eligibility so they create chance for other candidates.
So,If You want to be on Safe side you should achieve atleast below 500 rank in GPAT.

If I study PhD at IIT (BHU) in pharmacy and when PhD course completed then the institution can give me the opportunity to study abroad?
Hi Saikat,
You may choose to do a Postdoctoral fellowship after you PhD from BHU. A number of universities abroad do look for researcher fellows for such programs.
You will have to do a thorough research of such opportunities yourself. A number of fellowship sites such as researchgate may come handy in this process.

Yes, you can take the admission. For admission to a number of UG courses at BHU, CUET-UG results are accepted. In order to register, candidates wishing to be admitted to BHU must submit an online application through the official NTA CUET website. Applicants for PG courses must have a valid CUET-PG score. Certain courses may have merit-based admissions.
For almost 600 students, BHU has provided housing for international students. In a statement, the institution also mentioned how easy and hassle-free the admissions process is for overseas students.
