IIT Indore Login Portal

The institute provides a separate portal for student login academic iiti.ac.in:8443/index1.html. The students can access the IIT Indore login portal by giving the details of their username and password. The portal shows the details of the admissions status, the latest and upcoming events of the institute, placement cell details, syllabus, examination details, and many others.

Indian Institute of Technology Indore offers B.Tech at UG level while M.Tech, MS, and M.Sc, are offered at PG level. IIT Indore also offers some certification courses like Advanced Technology in Materials Engineering, Foundation for Entrepreneurship, A Certificate Course on Finite Element Methods and Hand-on Experience and many more.

IIT Indore B.Tech Admission Process

• Candidates must meet IIT Indore B.Tech eligibility criteria to apply for the course.

• The candidates have to appear and qualify for the JEE Advanced.

• After the declaration of the results, the selected candidates have to attend the JoASSA counselling process.

• Then the candidate needs to submit the necessary documents and pay IIT Indore fees.

The IITI offers 26 courses at postgraduate level. M.Sc, M.Tech, MS are the IIT Indore PG courses. The duration of the course lasts for 2 years.

Indian Institute of Technology Indore Admission Process: M.Tech/ MS

• Candidates must meet IIT Indore eligibility criteria to apply for the courses.

• The candidate has to qualify for the GATE examination.

• The GATE-qualified candidates must register on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) portal.

• Then the candidate needs to apply for the programme at the IIT Indore website online.

• Fill in all the details correctly and submit the form.

• The candidates having a Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) equal to or more than 8.0 are exempted from GATE qualification. The shortlisting of such applicants will be done based on their CPI.

• The shortlisted applicants who get selected through COAP are offered admission to the M.Tech / MS programmes.

• The candidate must submit valid documents and pay IIT Indore Admission fees.

IIT Indore M.Sc. Admission Process

• Candidates must meet IIT Indore eligibility criteria to apply for the M.Sc programme.

• Candidates have to qualify JAM and then register for JAM counselling on the official website of JAM.

• Then the candidate needs to register for JAM counselling on the official website of JAM.

• The candidates have to select IIT Indore as their first preference during the counselling process.

• Candidates will be shortlisted for IIT Indore admissions based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination.

• Finally the candidate should submit all the necessary documents and pay IIT Indore admission fees.

The college offers a total of 15 courses at the doctoral level. Ph.D Psychology, Ph.D Physics, Ph.D Mechanical Engineering, Ph.D Computer Science and Engineering, Ph.D English, Ph.D Astrology are some of the IIT Indore Ph.D specialisations offered by the college. The duration of the Ph.D course may last up to 6 years.

• The candidate must meet IIT Indore Ph.D eligibility criteria.

• The candidates have to apply online on the official college website and a unique application number will be assigned.

• Then the candidates have to appear for the written exam followed by the interview.

• The candidates have to bring a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) and Statement of Purpose (SOP) before the interview.

• Then, the candidates have to submit the required documents and pay IIT Indore application fees.

• Choose appropriate books for your preparation: Look for books that are suggested by teachers and books that clearly and concisely explain ideas. NCERT books are a great resource for developing fundamental concepts.

• Go through previous years’ papers and mock tests: For students to obtain a sense of the exam format, previous year's papers and JEE mock exams are important resources. Completing practice exams also helps students identify areas for improvement and gain confidence in their preparation.

• Time Management: Check for the chapter-wise weightage of the JEE Main topics. Utilise your most active hours for exploring demanding topics.

• Keep revising the topics.
