Established in 1959, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras or IITM) has been given the title of "Institute of Eminence". IIT Madras is a prestigious institution of national importance and a public technical university. IIT Madras is a residential institute with around 550 faculty, 8000 students and 1250 administrative & supporting staff. test

Excellent infrastructure, huge library and great labs. Hostels have Wi-Fi, classrooms are spacious, there's gym for fitness enthusiasts , and all sorts of sports facilities. Food and mess is quite hygienic.

We can not tell much about the hostels because have not been there as it is an online degree, but whenever I get there in the fests I can explore the campus myself and then I can make any comment on that, but tell from other people's experience it is very well.

The above companies are a product based so they don’t much concentrate on CGPA they just want you to be very tough in programming knowledge for Software roles
The main thing to get placed in the top company is your profile this means usually these type of companies picks up the students from IIT/NIT/IIIT and few reputed colleges. (Pick up in the sense these institutions students will have more opportunities but not guaranteed he/she will be get placed in these companies)
It does not mean that a student from normal colleges will not get placed it is that a student from normal engineering college should work hard more than an IITian,NITian or BITsian.
So work hard on programming skills.!
