Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc and Ph.D programmes. IIT Dhanbad Ph.D Admissions - Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria for IIT Dhanbad Ph.D admission. 

• For Ph.D in Engineering, Science and Humanities & Social Sciences, the candidates must have a valid score in GATE/NET or any equivalent level national entrance exam. 

• Candidates should have a valid CAT/GMAT score for IIT Dhanbad admission to Ph.D in Management programme.

• Next, candidates with valid GATE/NET or appropriate national-level examination scores have to appear for a written test. 

• Further, shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview on IIT Dhanbad campus.

JEE Advanced 2024 was conducted on May 26, 2024. Further, IIT Madras has released the JEE Advanced answer key 2024 on June 2, 2024 and the JEE Advanced result has been released on June 9, 2024. To check the JEE Advance result candidates can visit the official website i.e. jeeadv.ac.in and filling in the roll number, DOB and phone number.

• Select the appropriate books for your preparation: Look for books that are suggested by teachers and books that clearly and concisely explain ideas. NCERT books are a great resource for developing fundamental concepts.

• Go through previous year's papers and mock tests: For students to obtain a sense of the exam format, previous year's papers and JEE mock exams are important resources. Completing practice exams also helps students identify areas for improvement and gain confidence in their preparation.

• Time Management: Check for the chapter-wise weightage of the JEE Main topics. Utilise your most active hours for exploring demanding topics.

• Keep revising the topics. 

For admissions to M.Tech programmes, the IIT Dhanbad counselling process is done through COAP Counselling. To get admitted to UG and PG programmes, candidates must attend the respective IIT Dhanbad counselling process. The counselling for Ph.D programmes is conducted after completion of the entrance examination. After qualifying the JEE Advanced examination, candidates must apply for the JoSAA counselling 2024.
