According to the NIT Agartala Placement Report 2024 (NIRF Data), nearly 723 UG students were placed with an average salary of Rs 8.50 lakhs. 67 PG students were placed with NIT Agartala average salary package of Rs 6.25 lakhs. National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA) has a training and placement office known as the Centre for Career Development (CCD).

NIT Agartala placement cell organises various training sessions and skill-development programmes for the students. The Centre for Career Development (CCD) of NIT Agartala organises activities that help to increase students' employability like soft skill development, leadership abilities, and industry-oriented competencies. NIT Agartala placement cell also conducts workshops and many essential training sessions for the students. 85.84% of students were placed. The highest package offered is INR 53 LPA, the lowest is INR 7.5 LPA, and the average is INR 8–9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Paytm, Wipro, Cognizant, and Oracle. 85% of students got internships from my course. Application engineer is the top role offered.

Campus placements are not so great in this college. It depends on the branch you are enrolled in, but there are many opportunities for core and it sectors as well. But you can’t depend only on campus placements you should look off campus aswell
