NIT Meghalaya Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

NIT Meghalaya B.Tech ME has the highest placement percentage, with 66.6% of students placed and 14 offers accepted. With a placement percentage of 54% B.Tech EE has received second highest placement of students. As per the NIRF 2024, nearly 118 UG students were placed with NIT Meghalaya average salary of Rs 1.00 lakhs. 12 PG students were placed with a median salary package of Rs 8.16 lakhs. 

NIT Meghalaya placement activities are managed by the Centre of Career Development. During the NIT Meghalaya placement drive 2023, 79.6% of students were placed. 199 offers were made and NIT Meghalaya highest salary package stood at Rs 32 LPA. NIT Meghalaya average salary package stood at Rs 11.1 LPA. Throughout the year, the NIT Meghalaya placement cell offers career counselling and employability enhancement programmes. The placement cell in NIT Meghalaya includes a well-equipped group discussion room, three interview rooms, and a hall for pre-placement discussions. Also, the NIT Meghalaya placement cell provides various training programmes and skill development sessions to enhance the employability of the students.

NIT Meghalaya highest salary packages are offered to B.Tech CSE and ECE branches of Rs 12.00 lakhs. Following this B.Tech Mechanical Engineering has received a maximum salary of Rs 12.00 lakhs.
