NIT Puducherry Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

During the placement 2023-24, NIT B.Tech CSE branch has the highest number of students placed. With 10 offers accepted and a placement percentage of 69.8%. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Puducherry has a separate placement cell that takes the responsibility of conducting placement drives. The NIT Puducherry's highest salary package for B.Tech students in 2022-2023 is Rs 42 LPA. 

The average salary package of NIT Puducherry placements for B.Tech students is Rs 8.42 LPA. For the M.Tech students, the highest salary package offered is Rs 14.5 LPA while NIT Puducherry average salary package is Rs 10 LPA. More than 35 NIT Puducherry B.Tech CSE branch students were placed in 2023-24 placements. The NIT Puducherry placement cell follows a certain procedure while organising campus recruitment. • The filled and submitted Job Application Form is circulated among the students to make them aware of the profile offered by the company/firm and other details mentioned by the organisation in the JAF.

•  The NIT Puducherry placement cell and the interested organisation will mutually decide the dates of campus placement and visit the campus on the fixed dates.

•  In the case of an off-campus placement drive, the organisation has to mention the venue and date where the drive will take place. The details of the off-campus drive will be shared amongst the students, and interested candidates can attend the selection process.

• Companies visit the campus on the decided dates and conduct different rounds of the selection process.

• After all the rounds of the selection process are completed, the final list of selected/hired candidates is sent to the Puducherry NIT Placement Cell.

NIT Puducherry B.Tech ECE has the highest salary package of Rs 15.00 lakhs during 2023-24 placements. Then B.Tech EEE has the second highest salary package with Rs 12.00 lakhs.
