NIT Patna Admission Process

National Institute of Technology Patna offers admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Sc, M.Plan and PhD. I'm studying in NIT PATNA ECE-VLSI.Classrooms are maintained clean and air conditioned(not all classrooms).They're good with projectors which they won't use.We have air conditioned classrooms. We don't have the updated curriculum. Some professors are knowledgeable but not everyone. The college maintains a balanced approach between theory and practical learning.Professors are very supportive.

I'm getting NIT Patna 5 year integrated (BTech+MTech) Cyber security but I want to give GATE and try to get IIT to do MTech in cse. Is it possible to leave 5 year integrated course if I qualify GATE and want to do MTech from other colleges?

In most cases, leaving a 5-year integrated M.Tech program after the B.Tech portion (usually after 4 years) to pursue an M.Tech elsewhere through GATE is not possible.

Integrated programs are designed as a complete package, with the B.Tech portion leading seamlessly into the M.Tech specialization. Exiting after the B.Tech portion

if you scored 88.5 percentile but you belong from the general category, then it will be tough to get NIT Patna. However, if you belong to reserved category like the ST, then you have a chance to get through.
