Academics
Academics are well structured with experienced professors who are supportive. The curriculum is relevant, though students must put in self- effort. Regular exam, assignments and projects help build strong technical foundations.
College Infra
The infrastructure of college is very calm and greeny and feels like less stressed and relaxed always. Classrooms are spacious labs are functional, and the scenic campus near dal lake is beautiful. hostels are average but facilities are gradually getting better.
Campus Life
Campus life at NIT Srinagar is calm and refreshing. Being surrounded by nature makes everyday college life peaceful. I enjoyed spending time with friends, participating in culture events, and balancing academics with with moments with of fun and relaxation.
Placements
Placements are moderate with good opportunities for top performers. core and IT companies visit the campus and seniors are helpful with guidance. Internship opportunities are improving year by year with better exposure.
Value For Money
Considering the low fees of NIT, the college offers good value for money, which helps in higher studies and career opportunities and a strong peer group/networking . The campus life, natural surroundings, and learning environment together justify the investment and help in both personal and professional growth.

Academics
academics at nit srinagar are pretty good. the faculty is experienced and helpful, though like every college. he syllabus is well structured and updated as per industry needs. students get enough exposure to projects and research.

College Infra
The campus is honestly one of the most beautiful in the country with a scenic view of Dal lake and surroundings mountain. some hostels are a bit old. but they are manageable overall the natural beauty makes the college feel special.
Placements
Placement are decent for core branches like CSE, IT and ECE. big companies like infosys, tcs, wipro and some product based firm visit the campus. the highest package go to CSE students while other branches get average package.

Academics
Engineering was my choice because of the variety of career options in this field. The teaching quality is satisfactory, with professors providing a good theoretical foundation. The curriculum, however, is a bit outdated and could be improved to cover more modern advancements like IoT and 5G technologies.
College Infra
Facilities are okay, with classrooms that are functional and equipped with WiFi and smartboards.
Laboratories meet basic needs.
The library is large but lacks some newer resources.
Sports facilities are acceptable, though not always fully utilized. Hostels need better cleanliness, and food needs improvement.
Placements
The quality of placements for engineering students has been excellent, with over 80% of students securing offers.
The highest salary package ranged between 25 and 30 LPA, highlighting strong industry connections.
The median package stood at 11 to 12 LPA, which is competitive in the engineering sector.
The placement process was smooth, with the college offering tremendous support at every stage.

Taking admission in nit srinagar in civil branch or in any other college in cse branch completely depends on your choice. It depends on your thought process and the field in which you want to further pursue your study. Both the branches are suitable and best for pursuing

Does NIT SRINAGAR provides Hostel facility for PG/MTECH students
Hello there,
No, there is no accommodation provided by NIT Srinagar for PG\M students. NIT Srinagar only provide hostel for First year B.Tech Students. There are separate hostel and mess for boys and girls.

can i get into NIT SRINAGAR at 93 percentile in jee 2025?
hello aspirant
if u have the homestate quota then there are few chances that u can get into lower branches of nit shrinagar
atleast try to secure 95-96 percentile to get core branch
